David Tedder

Managing Partner, Broker In Charge

Mr. Tedder's career at Palmetto Commercial Real Estate reflects his extensive experience and accomplishments. He has played pivotal roles in various aspects of real estate development, management, leasing, and sales. His journey at Palmetto Commercial Real Estate began in 2006, and through dedication and expertise, he rose to the position of Senior Vice President in 2015.

Currently, he serves as the Managing Partner and Broker In Charge of the Palmetto Commercial Team, David's responsibilities have included overseeing the development and management of office and industrial facilities, as well as facilitating the leasing or sale of manufacturing and distribution facilities in the Carolinas. His expertise spans across various property types, including retail, industrial, office, recreational, hospitality, and investment properties. He has an impressive portfolio of successful negotiations of commercial leases and sales transactions.

Throughout his career, Tedder has worked with a diverse range of clients, including prominent names such as King Ranch, QVC, South State Bank, Bojangles, Jersey Mike’s, Dunkin Donuts, Mas Tec, Otis Elevator, Salvation Army, Harbor Freight and many more. His professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction have earned him a outstanding reputation in the industry.

David's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During his time at UNC Wilmington, he was actively involved in both academics and sports, contributing as a member of the men's tennis team for four years.

Beyond his professional endeavors, David is deeply rooted in his community. He resides in Florence with his wife, Sonja, who is a local school teacher, and their two daughters. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. David and his family are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church, where he has served as a trustee. David is involved at many levels within the community and serves on the City of Florence Design Review Board.
